As a local artist and entrepreneur I would like to speak strongly against shutting down Headquarters - an act that will inevitably result in negative, if not disastrous consequences for local culture.
The venue has been a home to many and very often a gateway to performing live for countless new and upcoming artists, both local and international, including all of my current and past projects.
Culture is an essential aspect of any community and without Headquarters the cultural potential of this city will be at sliced in half.
