Latvian Dance Information Center has collaborated with Bora Bora in several networks (kedja, kedjaStretch, Aerowaves), Inta Balode has once also been on a jury to discuss the residency applications, Latvian artists from Dance Anatomy has been in residency in Aarhus. Bora Bora is an great example for us both in terms of an amazing staff and also facilities. This is an example to share and talk about when explaining what conditions dance arts needs to be represented in its best way. We are against Bora Bora moving to smaller facilities, that will be a loss for very vast local and international dance community during the times of post-Covid and the war in Ukraine times when dance as the most empathetic and over-language arts form is so much needed. And needed in proper spaces where artists can do their best to be in the dialogue with audiences and keep the empathy alive.
