In the last years, I have had the pleasure to be in Bora Bora due to my job at The Danish School of Performing Arts, as a teacher and supporting the MA students that were presenting there, as well as an spectator.
The space provided for the dance and performing arts scene is of a big relevance. The conditions of the space and the measures fits the needs to a various variety of makers. A work that is simple can funciton there as well as a big production. That space is precious and can host a diversity of formats that the other building will not be able to host. It is a shame that the community, including citizens, might loose that precious space. I clearly want to state my opposition to this decision and I really hope that something can be done to stop this political move.
