I think the market garden that Marie has lately started is a big improvment of the local community: it allows people to access local and organic grown food and it takes care of the soil health with the regenerative approch to agriculture.
As an organic farm student and a farmer myself, i have visited Høsteriet and met Marie who is an absolute angel and very dedicated to her project.
I think it would be a very bad idea to build houses on Østergårdstofte. It would be a huge loss for the community and for the soil health of the area.
If you absolutely need to build houses in the area, you could please keep the land where Høsteriet is located as it is or even better you could allow Andelssamfundet Hjortshøj to buy the land or at least make a long term renting agreement.
We need more market gardens and community supported agriculture in Denmark to save the land and the little natural areas we have left. Please help Denmark!
