I am Yamanic Martinez, Industrial Chemical Engineer with two master's degrees and a 20-year career in International companies. We are in Aarhus since august 2023 because my husband accepted a position as Professor at Aarhus University. So I am in two bullets of the target group as Highly educated international workers and accompanying family and me and my family have a long term life plan in Aarhus.

Our welcome to the city and the country really good. We lived in Germany before and our welcome to Aarhus was much more friendly and organized. In our experience, Denmark is quite committed to its need for foreign workforce.

There are, in my opinion, many isolated efforts to help internationals integrate into the labor market. I myself have been in contact with at least 5 organizations or people or programs whose main objective is that, however I have been looking for a job for a year without success. An effective committee that includes the main companies, organizations and dedicated people would reinforce the strategy and make the isolated efforts more effective. Unity is strength.

That is to say, concentrating and organizing the efforts of all these organizations and people and the companies with true joint action plans will enhance the effective use of all the resources destined to the placement of the spouses, thus increasing the possibilities of retaining two qualified workers and not losing one.
